Agenda and abstracts from the 5th Annual White-Nose Syndrome Symposium now available
The Fifth annual Symposium on White-Nose Syndrome (WNS) was hosted by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources in Madison, WI on June 4-7, 2012. The goal of the symposium is to advance WNS research and management through communication, facilitated discussion, and collaboration. The symposium included updates on the status of WNS in North America, disease surveillance and diagnostic developments, information on the ecology of Geomyces destructans (the fungus which causes WNS) and much more. Attendees also participated in a number of panel discussions, working group meetings and workshops throughout the symposium.
