Researchers are growing increasingly concerned over the fate of Canada’s bat populations.  It is recommended, that because of the unprecedented mortality associated with the introduction of white nose syndrome to Canada, that the three species of bats which appear to be hit hardest by this new disease, be listed as endangered and protected under the Species at Risk Act.
