We would like to highlight the end of Benjamin Jakobek’s residency program. During this specialized three-year wildlife health training program, Benjamin had the opportunity to enhance his knowledge of various aspects of wildlife veterinary work. Throughout his residency, Benjamin was involved in various field and research projects involving a wide variety of wild species such as moose, caribou, muskox, grey and harbour seals, Canadian lynx, common eider, and sandhill crane. Benjamin also had the opportunity to work as a veterinary resident at the Birds of Prey Clinic of the Université de Montréal and the Granby Zoo, partners in this residency program.

The entire RCSF-Quebec team joins me in thanking Benjamin for his invaluable contribution to our wildlife health monitoring program o
