We live in deep South Texas along the Rio Grande. It’s been very HOT for weeks, with temps mostly triple digit. Friday morning, August 16th, 2013, we noticed a brown bat hanging on the brick wall of our front porch, about 18″ to the right of the front door. It’s relocated about 15′ over, but still out there 2 days later. Respiration is barely visible. I didn’t notice any indication of the white nose syndrome. It’s almost like it’s hibernating, but in the summer. Any ideas?
