Summer Students – Part 4
This time we head to the East coast and introduce two vet students working with the CWHC-Atlantic…
Amanda Clark is a 3rd year veterinary student at the Atlantic Veterinary College.
Amanda will be working with CWHC this summer, assisting with wildlife necropsies and data entry. She will also be sub-sampling years of archived moose tissue for genetic analysis, originating from mainland Nova Scotia, whose population is listed as Endangered. Amanda has a strong interest in pathology and loves to learn about new species and the diseases that affect them. She also loves yoga, her two cats and dog.
Kylee Graham is a second year student at AVC.
She will be working for CWHC-Atlantic this summer, continuing a study of sarcoptic mange distribution in red foxes throughout PEI. Kylee is passionate about wildlife health, and is excited to work on a project with a strong public relations aspect.
