Residency Training Program at CWHC – Québec
Christopher Scala, veterinary resident at the CWHC – Québec, has almost completed his three year program. After the completion of his residency Christopher will begin work as a veterinarian for a major zoological institution in Singapore. Since this institution houses fish and marine mammals, Christopher will be able to continue to work on his primary professional interest: aquatic animal health. The staff of the CWHC – Québec would like to thank Christopher for his three-year commitment with our regional centre and wish him all the best in this new professional journey.
In addition, we are pleased to welcome Rozenn Le Net, our new veterinary resident in Wildlife Health Management. Rozenn obtained her veterinary degree from the Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire, Agroalimentaire et de l’Alimentation Nantes-Atlantique, in France. Rozenn has been involved in different interships in zoo and wildlife in France, Canada, Australia and the Philippines. She also worked as a veterinarian in a small animal practice before joining the CWHC team in Québec. Rozenn’s interests include the relationship between wildlife health, human health and wildlife conservation.
