CWHC-Atlantic’s Pierre-Yves Daoust Gives Presentations in Iqaluit, NU

On November 21-24, Pierre-Yves Daoust participated in a workshop on wildlife contaminants given to students in the Environmental Technology program at the Arctic College in Iqaluit, NU.  This was the eleventh year that this workshop was offered, thanks to the wonderful work of Dr. Jennifer Provencher, Post-doctoral Fellow in Northern Research at Acadia University and based at the National Wildlife Research Centre in Ottawa.  Pierre-Yves had an opportunity to explain the goals of the CWHC to the students and also gave a public presentation on his observations of bowhead whale hunts by some communities of Baffin Island.
