Congratulations Marion Jalenques!

Last December, Marion Jalenques completed her residency program with the Quebec regional center. During this three-year specialized training program in wildlife health, Marion had the opportunity to increase her knowledge on the different aspects of the work of a wildlife veterinarian. In addition to carrying out a large number of mortality incident investigations, Marion has worked on various projects, including health monitoring of fish populations and anesthesia of moose and fisher in free-ranging settings.

The entire CWHC-Quebec team joins me in thanking Marion for her invaluable contribution to our wildlife health surveillance program over the past three years. We are fortunate to keep Dr. Jalenques with us for another year, as she will begin a post-doctoral program on marine brucellosis right here at the Quebec regional center.
